Oversee the day-to-day operations in the retail shop, with an emphasis on teamwork and successful team operations.Greet customers, ascertain what each customer wants or needs.Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires.Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges.Assist in inventory management, restocking, and maintaining store cleanliness.Conduct end of day procedures, including counting cash drawers and restocking all merchandise.Assist in visual merchandising, creating attractive displays to enhance sales.Knowledge of general merchandise purchasing.At least two years of experience in a retail store is preferred.At least one year of experience in a retail or merchandise purchasing role is preferred.At least one year of experience in a leadership or team-building role is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.Available to work on weekends and holidays.
