Full time SLP/Speech Language Therapist

Position Details Full-time: 36-38 hours per week

School year: Elementary - High School

On-site, in-person

Guaranteed hours, including designated documentation, planning, and administrative time

What You'll Do Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groups

Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments

Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized IEP goals

Evaluating student progress and adjusting intervention strategies based on student needs and data

Supporting students with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs

Monitoring student performance and collecting data to measure progress

Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, therapists, administrators, and other school professionals

What We're Looking For Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

Active or eligible for Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensure

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered , with appropriate supervision available

Experience working with children

Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring

Ability to successfully complete required fingerprinting and background clearances

Master's or PhD degree from a Speech‑Language Pathology program

State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Department of Education Licensure as a SLP National License: ASHA Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred CF-SLP placement may be available

Experience working with children Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Organizational and time management skills Proficient in use of technology Fingerprint background clearance Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements School-based therapy is active and hands-on.
