Job Summary:

Emergency Room Nurse (RN) position in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department with a 37-bed capacity. The successful candidate will work day shifts and contribute to a team committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications; minimum of 0 years of experience; current licensure to practice as an RN in Texas

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within an emergency department setting, high caliber patient experience skills

Float: Float rotation may be required

Additional Information: The unit comprises 37 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 in designated zones. The staff includes one charge nurse, seven RNs, and two technicians or paramedics per shift, with additional mid-shift team members. EMR system used is MediTech, and typical procedures include various emergency interventions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high energy, self-motivation, and amicability.
