Experienced Dental Assistant
Farber Perio is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant in Hauppauge, New York for a periodontal surgical office to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with specialists and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with surgical procedures, taking dental x-rays, intra-oral scans and 3D and oral scans, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dental care.
Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Support our mission to providing excellent dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.
Competitive hourly pay $28Min-$32Max
Part time: 24-26 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday

Order responsibility for Implant and other surgical material
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and dental hygienists
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program - Preferred
~High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
