The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing methods through maintaining a thorough knowledge of customer product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

SolidWorks proficiency is required – must be able to create, modify, and interpret 3D models, drawings, and assemblies.

Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar) is a plus.

5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a customer-facing or project-lead capacity within a made-to-order or high-mix production environment.

Demonstrated expertise in DFM/DFA principles, change order processes (ECOs), and assembly line development and optimization.

Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) and lean/Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification a plus).

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office/Project tools.

Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external customers.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

High School Diploma, or GED, required.

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering, or a 2-year technical/trade school degree in a related field.
