Part Time Bookkeeper

Information Point Technologies is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a part time bookkeeper. This person will be handling payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections for the company.

The requirements for this position include:

Specific Accountabilities:

1. Create and process payroll every other week.
2. Create customer invoices from a time by name report and send invoices.
3. Manage the collections process from the 30 day past due mark to turning the client over to a collections agency.
4. Process all bank, and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
5. Processing accounts payable invoices and make sure that these are paid on time.
6. Processing accounts receivable and weekly check deposits
7. Filing & paying city and state sales tax
8. Review and submit all appropriate payroll taxes and file quarterlies tax reports with the appropriate federal, state, and city entities.
9. Communicate journal entries, reconciliations and quarterly reports for our CPA firm.
10. Manage memorized transactions and automated payment to make sure that all recurring invoices are being changed and paid on a monthly basis.
11. Maintain accounting record keeping and filing system.
12. Onboarding new employees and managing benefits

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires five years experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must have good organization and time management skills in order to meet all bookkeeping work needed.

Strong experience with Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online.

Experience with Technology services businesses a plus.

Experience with Quickbooks time a plus.

Experience with memorized transactions in Quickbooks a plus.
