Pharmacist - Nights - PRN

PRN Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize treatment outcomes and promote overall wellness within our community.

Dispenses medications by packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.

Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

Develops clinic staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs, training pharmacy staff, students, interns, and health care professionals.

Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; maintaining current registration; Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.NAPLEX) and fulfilling any other local requirements to become a licensed pharmacist.

Active Florida Pharmacy License

To renew the Florida Pharmacy License, completion of required continuing education is necessary every two years.

Internships/Clinical Rotations– Hands-on training during pharmacy school, where students gain experience in real-world settings under supervision.

Work Experience– Working as a pharmacist in various settings (e.g., hospitals, retail pharmacies) helps build practical skills and knowledge.
