Key responsibilities of the RN ER/ED include:

Provide direct patient care in an emergency room setting

Respond to emergency situations with a composed and decisive manner

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care

Utilize strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service

Requirements of the RN ER/ED include:

RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (within 180 days)

Trauma Nurse Certification (TNCC)

Less than 1 year of experience in direct patient care preferred
