GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Officer!
Do you have Military or Law Enforcement experience and are ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard?
What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
Competitive hourly wage of $37.50 / hour

Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
You have a state security license (CT state Blue Card) valid armed endorsement
police, corrections, or federal agencies)
Have a minimum of six (6) months of armed work experience which may include military and/or law enforcement experience.
Candidate must pass government-required live-fire testing and meet minimum scores as established by the state of Connecticut.
Candidate must complete a standard NRA course of fire with eighty percent (80%) proficiency
Pass modified agility exam to include lifting and moving and flexibility testing. (Candidate must pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE). Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
Clean motor vehicle record and ability to operate a security vehicle
First aid certification is an asset
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
