Manufacturing Millwright -- Full-Time

AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is recruiting for a Millwright; this position would require some travel, but will be based in our West Point, VA location. We are searching for a qualified individual who has experience with industrial equipment repairs. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Millwright Responsibilities Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation

Build foundation for machines

Construct and install equipment

Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance

Grind and file machinery parts

Fabrication of both buildings and hardwood drying equipment, including servicing and replacing dry lines, kilns, etc.

Work with range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and metal fabrication equipment

Follow all safety guidelines, policies and procedures

Traveling as needed.

Millwright Qualifications GED/High School Degree Preferred and an accredited Millwright certificate preferred

Minimum of at least 5 years experience as a Millwright or similar job

Experience with Cleereman, PHL and other hardwood specialty equipment manufacturers preferred

Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to travel

Millwright Pay and Benefits Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $20 - $30/hour*
