Description:
Looking for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.
The position requires 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
Candidates will float to other units as needed based on patient care needs.
Every other weekend work is required, totaling 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
This role will support a patient population that includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Ratios are 1:5-6 depending on shift and unit needs.
Key competencies include management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, post-operative care, and wound care.
Medication administration and managing intravenous lines are essential job functions.
Candidates must provide 2 references from authority figures dated within the last year.
Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
Travelers must be available to complete required lab work promptly.
Candidates are required to have knowledge of the electronic health record systems.
