Residential Direct Support Professional - Evenings

Brite Light Residential Services in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join their team. Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Facilitate community integration activities and accompany individuals to appointments and outings

Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed

Promote resident independence, dignity, and self-advocacy at all times

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

High school diploma or GED

Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred

Ability to pass background clearances including PA Child Abuse History and FBI clearance

Willingness to complete required DSP training and certifications (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration)

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
