Work a 7-on, 7-off block schedule providing inpatient cardiology coverage with day shifts and in-house call. This assignment offers a broad cardiology case mix supported by advanced practice providers.

Inpatient-only cardiology practice

Day shifts with in-house call

No resident or teaching supervision required

Practice & Cases:

Inpatient cardiology hospitalist coverage

Non-invasive cardiology including echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI care

Diagnostic invasive procedures including cardiac catheterization, PA catheter placement, IABP placement, and heart biopsy

Supported by 2 to 3 Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners

Schedule:

7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. call-only coverage

7 days on, 7 days off

In-house call with a 15-minute response time

Approximately 10 phone consults and 5 admissions while on call

Requirements:

Must be an MD or DO

Arkansas medical license required

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology

ACLS certification required

Logistics:

Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided

Travel arrangements covered for the assignment
