Experience: Minimum years of experience required in Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby care.
License: Current New Mexico or Multi-State Licensure is required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
Must-Have: Must be able to work weekends.
Description: Experience in mother-baby and labor and delivery care is required. Candidates must be able to start as soon as compliant. Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR documentation is preferred. First-timers are accepted. Community hospital experience is a plus. Previous charge experience is beneficial. Experience with patient ratios is preferred. Skills required include antepartum care, APGAR scoring, assisting with vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections. Experience with couplet care and nursery management is essential. Candidates must demonstrate competence in labor and delivery, LDRP, and mother/baby care. Experience with neonates, adolescents, and adults is desired. Candidates should be able to provide interdisciplinary support as needed. Special procedures knowledge related to labor, delivery, and nursery care is required.
