Location Northridge Health and Rehabilitation, 5430 Boone Ave N. Registered Nurse – DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis (DSD)

Schedule: 3-4 days a week, 12+ hour shifts. Alternate Saturdays required. Some travel to other SNF clinics may be required.

Training: Paid, robust, hands-on training program. May include classroom and on-site training.

Provide comprehensive dialysis care for patients in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring treatment stays on track.

• Troubleshoot and make clinical decisions regarding dialysis therapy, partnering with SNF staff to coordinate care.
• Conduct patient and family education on dialysis procedures and self-care.
• Supervise dialysis technicians to meet capacity and efficiency goals.
• Manage multiple patients, maintain quality outcomes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work autonomously, applying core nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and implement patient care plans.

Training may take place in a facility or training clinic; hours may vary during training, typically 32-40 hours per week.

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; minimum 12 months RN experience.

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Previous chronic hemodialysis or acute dialysis experience strongly preferred but not required.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Paid, hands-on training program available.

Background in training, teaching, or healthcare education.

Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
