Temp/Travel- Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health

Registered Nurse - OR, travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, starting 07/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,253 to $2,355 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Work setting: hospital operating room with exposure to diverse surgical cases and robotics.

• Contract duration: Shift: 5x8 Days
• OR within a hospital environment

Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including patient positioning, sterile technique, and coordination with anesthesia to support safe, efficient procedures.

• Scrub and circulate for a broad range of cases, ensuring instrumentation readiness, equipment function, and adherence to OR protocols.
• Assist with complex robotic-assisted procedures (DaVinci) and contribute to cases involving large head and neck, neuro-spine, and abdominal surgeries.
• Monitor intraoperative patient status, document events, manage specimens, and support immediate post-anesthesia care as needed.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, circulating staff, and surgical techs to maintain patient safety and high-quality turnover between cases.
• May float to other OR areas as required and participate in on-call rotations (up to 6 shifts in a 13-week contract); holiday coverage applies if scheduled.

Active Kansas Registered Nurse license

• 2+ years of operating room nursing experience with level 1 trauma exposure
• experience with head/neck, neuro-spine, and ex-lap cases preferred
• On-call availability up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract; ability to work scheduled holidays if applicable
