RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Nursing

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Four 9‑hour shifts per week, rotating Monday–Friday schedule

One weekday off, weekends off except when on call

Typical shift hours 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with variations based on procedure schedule

7–8 overnight call shifts per 8‑week scheduling period, including one weekend call per cycle

Holiday call required for at least one holiday per year

30‑minute response time required for emergent cases during nights and weekends

Planning: Uses assessment information and critical thinking to develop an individualized plan of care, involving patient, family, team, and physician.

Implementation: Directs the care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration; provides or delegates care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines, and licensure.

Professionalism: Promotes the nursing profession, participates in the development of others, integrates legal and ethical standards, documents accurately and timely, and operates within scope of licensure.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, Montana.

Hourly rate: $38.37 – $56.17 (dependent on experience).
