Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid North Carolina RN or Compact RN license, and at least 1 year of recent intensive care unit (ICU) experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Recommended skills include proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, rapid response to emergencies, and strong communication. Experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), ventricular assist devices (VADs), and EMR systems is valued.
