Workplace Experience Ambassador
As a Workplace Experience Ambassador, you will be the vibrant heartbeat of our workplace, creating memorable first impressions and seamless experiences for clients, visitors, and employees alike. This role combines high-touch customer service with operational excellence, where you will oversee daily building operations and manage front-of-house experiences. Serve as the primary point of contact at reception, warmly greeting all visitors, clients, and employees while maintaining a professional appearance.
Oversee daily operations of the building and office space, conducting workplace inspections to maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety compliance.
Coordinate event setups and room configurations, supervising venue preparation and breakdown, managing catering and AV/VC requests, and liaising with security and vendor teams.
Handle meeting room management from booking coordination to setup and reset, including inventory management and utilization reporting.
Support office moves, seating arrangements, and space planning initiatives by maintaining accurate floor plans and coordinating with project management and IT teams.
Maintain inventory and manage supplies for furniture, equipment, pantry items, and office consumables.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, manage package deliveries, and coordinate courier pickups.
Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities coordination, workplace services, or a similar front-of-house role within a corporate office environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Basic understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and workplace management tools, such as ServiceNow or Corrigo.
Physical capability to lift 30-50 pounds and remain mobile throughout the workday.
Familiarity with space planning software and seating management systems.
Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Amazon Business.
This position offers a shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with street parking available. This role has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent status.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
