Safely support Research & Development activities related to the creation of new Kalrez® elastomer products.
Prepare compounds and assist with molding, extrusion, and product testing.
Perform rheology testing and other laboratory testing as required.
Assist with technical drawings and test programming when needed.
Generate data to support the development and promotion of Kalrez® parts.
Evaluate new materials, ingredients, and processing methods to improve Kalrez® manufacturing processes.
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including general housekeeping and adherence to area standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical background with knowledge or experience in rubber processing .
Knowledge of numerical lathe and milling equipment .
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
Flexible, adaptable, dependable, and reliable.
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to obtain required medical clearance.
Language Skills Basic English proficiency required.
Additional languages are welcome.
