AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Rockford, Illinois, to offer a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position for the remainder of the school year. This school-based role consists of 37.5 hours per week and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students lives. As an OT in this setting, you will conduct evaluations to assess students motor, sensory, and functional abilities, develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs, and provide direct therapy services to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help skills. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families to adapt classroom environments and activities, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.Monthly team meetings and clinical supervision ensure therapists are well-supported and connected. Rockford, Illinois, is an ideal location for professionals relocating to the area. Its conveniently situated just 60 miles from Chicago OHare, 58 miles from Madison, and 80 miles from Milwaukee, with easy access via I-90, I-39, and regional bus services.
