Sonographer OpportunityThe Northwestern Specialists for Women, a practice partner of Together Women's Health (TWH) has an immediate opportunity for a part time Sonographer to join our team!The Sonographer is responsible for acquiring ultrasound images that are used in medical diagnoses. The technician performs sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PMResponsibilitiesHow you'll make an impact:Greets all patients courteously and ensures that their needs are metReviews patient identification and verifies physician orderGains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures, explaining equipment, and answering questionsReviews images, makes initial observations, documents exceptions from established protocols and communicates data to physicianMaximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and proceduresMaintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and proceduresDocuments patient ultrasound services by completing patient record chartingParticipates in process improvement activities within radiology practice including but not limited to quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfactionOther duties as assignedQualificationsTalents you'll bring to TWH:Graduate of a certified ultrasound programARDMS certified and in good standingExperience in an OBGYN setting is preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring mannerWhat's in it for you?As a part-time team member, you will have access to benefits to include Retirement Plan with a generous company match, Paid Time Off (because we work hard and play hard), and Holiday Pay.Why Together Women's Health (TWH)?We're a rapidly growing network of Obstetrics and Gynecology practices, and while it's important to know what we are, it's more important to know what drives us - our mission is to improve the lives of our healthcare partners and their patients.
