HVAC Mechanical Engineer

The HVAC Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and development of HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and federal projects. This role prepares engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures designs meet applicable codes, client requirements, and project schedules while delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projects

Perform Load/Energy calculations with software such as Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar programs

Work with senior engineer to conduct building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems

Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings

Write/edit project specifications

Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies

Provide construction administration services

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and local building codes
• Travel: Some travel to US sites.
