Job Title: Specialist, Mechanical Engineering

Develops mechanical and electromechanical concepts and designs for test fixtures and stations used in the factory for production testing. Test applications include:

Unit level (radio)

Environmental chamber testing

Fully automated test systems with material handling

Evaluate existing factory test systems and suggest/implement improvements to reduce fixture related test failures.

Provide feedback for testability of product designs to engineering.

Fixture, cable, PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.

Proficient in 3D modeling software (eg. Creo, CAD, etc.)

Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.

Ability to obtain security clearance.

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Mechanical Engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Mechanical Engineering experience. SolidWorks experience

Implementing designs with additive printed technologies - familiar with processes and materials

Ability to work with planning, quality, operations, and engineering to highlight and resolve issues.

Agile scrum development process experience
