Phlebotomist - Laboratory Clinics - Part Time

Phlebotomist
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing and collecting blood from patients and preparing the samples for testing. Verifies the patient's records, enters data into the system, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Instructs patients on Coumadin and performs limited waived testing. This position is PRN, working hours or shifts as needed!!
No weekends or major holidays!
Performs painless venipuncture and capillary puncture for the Coumadin clinic
Phlebotomy certification or M.A. certification or certificate from a phlebotomy program.

• Understand Biohazard, OSHA safety regulations for medical offices, and Universal precautions.
• Ability to guide and observe new phlebotomists
