Inpatient Health Coder

Coding Specialist Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely assignment of diagnostic and operative procedure codes and the assignment of the appropriate and optimal DRG/NY APR DRG#s for all patient medical records both concurrently and at the time of discharge. Must be accredited as CCS - Certified Coding Specialist, RHIT # Registered Health Information Technician or RHIA # Registered Health Information Administrator. Must maintain continued education credits and AHIMA membership. Preferably 3-5 years Inpatient Coding experience. Salary - $22.90 - $31.02 per hour
