The Cashier II plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by efficiently processing transactions and providing friendly, accurate service at the point of sale. This position requires handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Cashier II is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting store operations to contribute to overall business success. This role also involves collaborating with team members to manage inventory and assist with merchandising tasks as needed. Ultimately, the Cashier II helps create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and customer satisfaction.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations.

Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.

Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.

Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

Handle cash, credit, debit, and other payment methods while ensuring proper transaction documentation.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and ensure all supplies are stocked.

Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and reporting discrepancies.

Adhere to all company policies, including cash handling procedures and loss prevention guidelines.

Collaborate with team members and management to support store operations and achieve sales goals.
