At Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH), the Vascular Access Team (VAT) is a specialized team of registered nurses who provide expert vascular access care for pediatric patients. Their primary responsibilities include assisting with difficult IV placements and blood draws, as well as placing and managing PIVs, midlines, PICC lines, and other central vascular access devices.

Overall, the VAT helps ensure that children receive safe, effective, and compassionate vascular access care, particularly when standard IV access is challenging.

BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire

Registered Nurse (RN) Required. A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience
