Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position in a specialized oncology, thoracic, and bariatric surgery unit requiring chemotherapy certification.

Details

Work in a 12-bed inpatient unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric Surgery

Patient population includes oncology, thoracic, and bariatric surgery patients

Typical patient ratio of 1:4, may increase to 1:5 depending on acuity

Procedures include chemotherapy administration and chest tube management

Night shift schedule: 3x12‑hour shifts (19:00-07:30)

Rotating weekends required — every other weekend

Rotating holiday coverage required

Floating to Med/Surg/Telemetry as needed

No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Chemotherapy certification required

Prior oncology nursing experience required

Proficiency with chest tube management required

Pay & Benefits
