To insure the reliability of production equipment by performing preventive maintenance activities and using best practice techniques for repairs. Comply with all OSHA required activities for PIT - Performs routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance; Inspect or test damaged parts and advise supervisor of repairs needed; Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications - Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime; Repair, calibrate and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of electronic and pneumatic equipment; Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability - Read work orders and specifications for machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance - Assures that proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems. - - Maintain proper housekeeping, work area, equipment, and tools Required Education & Experience: - HS Diploma or GED;CMRT Certification required and or provable experience to be considered - IST Assessment available in lieu of a high school diploma or GED. - Experience with Microsoft Office programs, SAP CMMS or equivalent CMMS programs - PLC software experience preferred, Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics - Experience with pumps (diaphragm and centrifugal) drives: gearbox, belts, chain, hydraulic, couplings, motor-air, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps, and dies; Electrical: High voltage 460-volt 3 phase, motor controls, low voltage; Air compressor system- including filters regulators, dryers, and lubricators. - Small welding projects - Mig Welding - Configuration of mixer machines/equipment - Maintenance of lift trucks - Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and equipment manuals; Self-motivated Individual Preferred: - Five (5) years of Industrial Maintenance experience - Technical School diploma - Company paid training to achieve proper certification/training available for qualified candidates based on experience/skill set Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Training on 1st or 2nd Shift) Drug Screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered
