Picker/Packer/ WEEKLY PAY / Immediate start/Warehouse

Job Title: Picker & Packer
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Picker & Packer to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products, packing customer orders, labeling shipments, and preparing products for distribution. Order Picking

Accurately pick products according to customer orders, packing slips, and work instructions.
Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order details before packing.
Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting daily production goals.
Packing Operations

Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping and transportation.
Select appropriate packaging materials based on product requirements.
Ensure packaging meets company quality standards.
Inspect products for damage or defects prior to packing.
Labeling & Shipping Preparation

Weigh completed packages using warehouse scales.
Apply shipping labels, barcode labels, and routing information accurately.
Tape and seal boxes according to shipping requirements.
Palletizing & Material Handling

Prepare pallets for transportation and shipment.
Move materials, products, and completed orders throughout the warehouse.
Assist with loading and staging shipments when required.
Quality Control

Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or packing issues.
Help reduce shipping errors by verifying order contents before shipment.
Warehouse Support

Rotate between picking, packing, labeling, palletizing, and other warehouse functions as needed.
Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping.
Complete additional warehouse duties assigned by supervisors.
Safety & Housekeeping

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or workplace incidents immediately.
Maintain compliance with all company quality and safety standards.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.

Experience working with packing lists, shipping labels, and warehouse documents.

Previous experience in distribution, fulfillment, or logistics environments.
Knowledge of shipping and packaging best practices.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials safely throughout the workday.
Ability to perform repetitive motions, including packing, lifting, reaching, and labeling.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move frequently during warehouse operations.
Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
Fast-paced warehouse and distribution setting.
Regular involvement in picking, packing, labeling, palletizing, and material handling activities.
Safety-focused workplace committed to quality and operational excellence.
Active role requiring continuous movement throughout the shift.
Clean and organized warehouse facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.
