CPA/Senior Tax Preparer

Dizario Search is partnered with a small but growing CPA firm on Cleveland's west side that is looking to add a Senior Tax Preparer to their team. They are seeking an experienced tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, navigating complex tax matters, and serving as a trusted advisor while also providing leadership by reviewing and mentoring junior staff.
Preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns, including multi-state filings
Providing proactive tax planning, projections, and advisory services
Researching tax law changes and identifying planning opportunities for clients
5+ years of individual tax preparation experience in public accounting
Strong knowledge of individual tax planning, compliance, and tax research
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
CPA license is a plus, but not required
Experience with QuickBooks, UltraTax, Accounting CS, OfficeTools, or TaxDome is a plus
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys client interaction, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is looking to grow with a firm that values collaboration, professional development, and long-term relationships.
