Tiger Flex Program NurseShift: Days or Nights, 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts), EOW, 50% holidays within agreement periodCommitment Length: 12 weeks with options to renewWork Arrangement: On-Site Department: Staffing Support Services – Float Pool (The Tiger Flex position is a cluster-based role. At Capital Region Medical Center, units are organized into three care areas: Critical Care [ICU/PCU/ER], General Care [Med Surg/Rehab/ER], and Obstetrics [L&D/MNB/Well Baby]).Facility: Capital Region Medical Center – 1125 Madison St, Jefferson City, MOCompensation: Earning potential ranges from $71 to $89 per hour after orientation. Final pay rate depends on shift differentials and unit clusters assigned.Base Pay: $56 per hour, flat rateTiger Flex Differential: $15 per hour, after orientationShift Differentials:o Additional $2.75 per hour for evening shiftso Additional $9.00 per hour for night shiftso Additional $3.00 per hour for weekend shiftso (Weekend Nights compound for a total of $12.00 per hour)Cluster Premiums:o No cluster premium for working one clustero Additional $4.00 per hour for working two clusterso Additional $5.00 per hour for working three clusterso Additional $6.00 per hour for working four clustersNote: clusters are determined during department interview and based on nursing experience and departmental need.A nurse working weekend nights with four clusters could earn up to $89/hour. Actual earnings vary based on assigned clusters and shiftsThis is a non-benefit eligible roleAbout the JobWe're looking for nurses to join our Tiger Flex Program—a contract-based nursing program offering the perks of travel nursing without the travel.This position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment. Here you can define your career among our many clinical and nonclinical positions — with growth, opportunity and support every step of the way.Learn more about MU Health Care.Detailed Job Description· Assess the patient's condition and nursing needs, set goals, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.· Demonstrate the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions in accomplishing goals and intended patient care outcomes.· Maintain the standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursing unit.· Participate in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.· physicians, head nurse, charge nurse, or nursing supervisor) and record those observations accurately and concisely.· Provide quality care to patients and work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the highest patient satisfaction.· May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.Required Qualifications· Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. One (1) year of acute care RN experience.The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
