The Anxiety Health Network is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our vibrant team in San Jose, California. In this critical role, you will empower individuals, couples, and families to navigate their mental health challenges through effective psychotherapy and counseling. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000, along with a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our community.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments effectively. Our team operates primarily within a community health clinic framework, which emphasizes accessibility and integration of care, making it easier for team members to collaborate across multiple disciplines. We offer flexible scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts during hours that accommodate our clients from 8 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. It is crucial to us that every team member feels valued and empowered to prioritize their well-being.
Conduct individual, group, couple, or family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s unique situation.
Interview clients to collect comprehensive information regarding their social, personal, environmental, and health contexts to inform treatment.
Assess, evaluate, and formulate treatment plans that address mental health challenges, ensuring services provided are within your scope of practice.
Develop and implement programs to meet clients’ emotional and social needs, coordinating care plans with additional healthcare professionals when necessary.
Provide crisis intervention in a timely manner, referring clients to community resources as needed for increased support.
Your role will significantly impact our diverse patient demographic, who may face a variety of mental health challenges ranging from mood disorders and substance dependence to family dynamics and grief management. Your empathetic approach will help clients build resilience and develop coping strategies, making a tangible difference in their lives. By addressing both psychological and social factors, you will help facilitate long-term recovery and health improvement.
A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in the state of California.
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
Prior counseling experience specifically in behavioral mental health treatment, including issues such as depression, mood disorders, and substance abuse.
Experience conducting family therapy or relationship counseling is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
