We are seeking a Per Diem Medical Technologist for our Lakewood location. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, you will perform and interpret routine diagnostic assays on blood and body fluids to support accurate patient diagnosis. In this role, you will handle all aspects of specimen preparation, identification, and testing, while ensuring meticulous reporting and documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences or Clinical Laboratory Science OR Associate degree in Medical Technology or Life Sciences combined with required clinical experience.

2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
~ Per Diem as needed.
Evening shift scheduled: 230pm – 11pm.
Some weekends and holidays are required.
Develop solutions to problems concerning the generation of laboratory data.
Correlates laboratory results regarding previous results and diagnosis.
Follows proper procedures for reporting and documenting laboratory test results and reports.
Documents corrective actions and promptly notify supervisors when quality control results exceed tolerance limits.
Integrates and relates data generated by the various laboratory sections and makes judgments regarding possible discrepancies.
Performs all types of analytical testing on specimens with accuracy, precision, and efficiency under the direction of a pathologist.
Performs and documents quality control according to established protocols.
Make judgments concerning the results of quality control procedures.
Performs procedures in two or more functional sections of the medical laboratory.
