Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Position Phlebotomist
Location Murietta, CA
Work Schedule Monday - Friday 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.
Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
Preferred Qualifications At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist.
Current or prior experience with Labcorp.
Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the requirement.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Able to attend two‑week training in California.

Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Pay Range $21.00 - $33.00 per hour.
