AHMG ICU at AdventHealth Heart of Florida APRN or PA

Opportunities in the ICU at AdventHealth Central Florida. AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a recognized leader in patient-centered care and is honored as #1 in Orlando by U.News & World Report (2021‑2022) and #3 hospital in Florida (2021). We are seeking PA’s and APRN’s to join our expanding critical care team, providing ICU management, patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership.

Obtain patient health histories, complete physical examinations, and document findings.

Formulate and implement treatment plans for acute illness management in collaboration with supervising physicians and document as required.

Assess patients for status changes and initiate appropriate interventions, including emergency measures to stabilize patients.

Participate in quality/performance improvement activities and clinical research.

14, 12‑hour shifts per month.

Two weekends per month required.

Hours: 7 PM to 7 AM (night).

Master’s Degree in Nursing (Acute Care Certificate required) or Education in Physician Assistant Studies.

5 years of ICU RN experience OR 3 years as an APRN in the ICU.

3 years as a PA in the ICU OR 5 years as a PA in a surgical specialty.

Current, valid Florida APRN or PA‑C license.

Acute Care Certificate required for APRNs.
