Quality Compliance Checker

The Quality Inspector, under the direction of the Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, supports the organization’s commitment to producing high-quality goods by identifying defects, documenting findings, and facilitating Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction. This role ensures compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Quality Inspection & Testing: Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, finished products, and outbound shipments. Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, leak tests, and other quality assessments as required. Document inspection results accurately and completely, maintaining both digital and physical records. Identify non-conforming materials or products and initiate NCRs in collaboration with production and quality teams. Communicate inspection findings to the Safety & Quality Assurance Manager and relevant supervisors. Production & Shipping Support: Assist with quality-related documentation for production logs, shipping records, and traceability. Apply quality control identifiers (e.g., Provide end-of-shift reports summarizing inspection activities, findings, and any actions taken. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality training sessions. Maintain organized inspection files and contribute to quality data tracking systems.

Support other quality-related tasks as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred; Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and interpret product specifications and inspection criteria. Proficient in basic math and Microsoft Office applications. Able to reach, bend, and stoop to perform inspection duties. Reliable, motivated, flexible, and team oriented. Passion for ensuring high quality work.

Work Schedule: Full time/Non-Exempt, 40 hours weekly. May work some overtime hours during emergencies and when extraordinary circumstances warrant overtime to ensure adequate stabilization and issue resolution.
