Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for analog design and aviation sensor products. Troubleshooting, optimization, and root cause failure analysis of electrical circuit designs, including hands-on testing and experiments

Design optimization for performance, cost, and manufacturability

Definition and management of product requirements across all phases: design, development, integration, testing, verification, validation, and production

Component analysis and obsolescence management

Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation; Interface with engineers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders on engineering projects and products

Support production to improve yield, reduce scrap, and achieve performance metrics

Provide technical leadership on complex design projects, serving the electrical engineering community and Engines Value Stream

Develop and execute electrical engineering standard practices

Proficiency with Allegro and Cadence tools to design schematics, PCBs, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), and associated drawings

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Experience in circuit theory, analog and digital design, instrumentation, semiconductor devices, and power supply design (low and high power)

Experience designing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

Experience reviewing and/or writing product specifications and determining design requirements

Experience in analog design, EMI, lightning protection, power supply design, digital communications, qualification testing, and high-power electronics
