ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!

Job Description:
We are hiring associate attorneys with 0-3 years of experience to join our team in Dalton in the growing practice areas of general litigation, medical malpractice defense, and real estate. These are in-office positions with immediate start dates.

Responsibilities:
Legal research including investigation of case law, statutes, and regulations to support active cases.

Preparation of memos, briefs, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.

Organize and maintain case files, and track billable hours.

Attend depositions, hearings, and trials alongside or on behalf of Directors.

Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal counsel.

Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel and co-counsel.

Qualifications:
Ability to independently balance multiple cases, maintain calendar, and meet strict deadlines.

Work proactively, both independently and as a team member.

Strong organizational, analytical, research, and communication skills.

Excellent legal writing research and oral advocacy skills.

Education and Experience:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school is required.

Licensed to practice and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.

History of academic success.

General litigation, medical malpractice defense, or real estate experience preferred but not required.
