Registered Nurse Pediatrician Emergency Room

The Department of Pediatrics at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York is seeking board eligible/board certified General Pediatricians to practice in the Fast Track area of our Emergency Department at CCMC . We are looking for competent clinicians, who are comfortable with basic ED procedural skills ,and can provide thoughtful and timely patient care to our growing pediatric community.
Our PEM team consists of 33 attendings, 9 fellows and 6 advance care providers. The department layout includes 33 individual patient exam rooms and 2 critical care/trauma bays. We are the busiest American College of Surgeons Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in NY state. We have a dedicated behavioral health area, as well as a behavioral health urgicenter. Our amazing and highly skilled nursing staff recently received the highest ranking in Magnet designation and were a recipient of the Lantern award from the Emergency Nurse's Association. Amongst our staff are experts in Global Health, Child Abuse, Ultrasound, Emergency Management, Pediatric Transport, Trauma, Quality, Advocacy/Gun Violence Prevention and Research.
Cohen Children's Medical Center opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan area's only hospital designed exclusively for children.
