Part Time Retail Ambassador

Responsibilities Represent General Mills at campus events and be the primary owner of campus outreach, shaping future engagement plans.
Work with the Recruiting Team Lead to develop a comprehensive campus recruitment plan.
Serve as the first point of contact for students, student organizations, and professors to share internship and career opportunities.
Participate in General Mills career fairs.
Present to campus organizations and at information sessions.
Coordinate on‑campus interview processes.
Identify and pursue additional organizations and initiatives for General Mills participation.
Exposure Network with corporate recruiting team members and senior leadership.
Organize campus recruiting social activities and volunteer events.
Collaborate with career center staff to build strong relationships.
Compensation and Timing Pay: $14 per hour, temporary non‑scheduled part‑time position, no additional benefits.
Timing: August 2024 - March 2025.
Daily breakfast and snack samples provided during the school year.
Campus ambassadors who perform well will receive preferential consideration for the General Mills Summer Internship program.
Qualifications Current freshman or sophomore status at one of the listed universities.
Self‑development interest; business or liberal arts majors preferred, but not limited.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to work in teams.
Creative, innovative thinking (“out of the box” skills).
Self‑starter and motivator, owning the opportunity.
