Employment Type: Contract
Experience: Minimum 1 year ICU experience (First-time travelers require 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care)

Provide critical care nursing for ICU patients with complex diagnoses including STEMI, respiratory distress, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-surgical patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RT, hospitalists, and charge nurses
Float to other units such as Med/Surg as needed, with ratios of 1:5-6 in Med/Surg and 1:2 in ICU
Follow hospital policies on PPE, patient ratios, and holiday/work schedule commitments
Active RN license in Louisiana or appropriate state
At least 1 year of recent ICU experience (2 years for first-time travelers)
Ability to pass EKG competency exam (includes MedSurg RN skills)
Flexibility to float and work a 12-hour night shift
About the Assignment Join a prominent healthcare facility in Shreveport providing ICU and critical care services to critically ill patients, including management of cardiac, neuro, and medical-surgical cases. You will work within a supportive team with access to in-house support services such as phlebotomy, RT, hospitalist, and more, ensuring a comprehensive patient care experience.
