This position involves managing a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The nurse will be expected to handle up to 4 patients per shift, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety. Floating between various like units is required and supports the flexibility of staffing needs. The facility serves a high volume of patients daily and is designated as a stroke and cardiac center. Candidates should possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills. All applicants must be willing to commit to working three of the five major holidays. Floating between sister facilities may be expected as part of the assignment. Travelers' refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment.
