MSG continues to grow and is excited to add a Transportation Engineer to the Mansfield, OH team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑to‑mid‑level engineer to work on roadway and aviation projects while learning from experienced professionals and building a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do

Design, analyze and develop transportation infrastructure projects that improve community mobility.

Support senior engineers and project managers in preparing transportation design plans for state, municipal, commercial, industrial and residential projects within a 3D digital environment.

Perform and review design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.

Contribute to the development of design packages, including roadway geometry, drainage, grading and plan preparation.

Assist with early project phases such as feasibility studies, permitting and cost estimating.

Support aviation projects, contributing to runway and airfield design and analysis.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.

Experience working with OpenRoads Designer.

Familiarity with ODOT Design Standards.

A strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and eagerness to grow technical and project management skills.
