Urology Physician Opportunity in Dallas, TexasThe Dallas VA Medical Center provides primary care and specialty health services, including cardiology, mental health services, treatment for spinal cord injuries, suicide prevention, women's health care, and more. We have 4,700 employees and 1,700 community volunteers who are driven by the passion to serve at Dallas VA Medical Center.Responsibilities include providing clinical urology services including surgeries, consultations, cystoscopies, and other related urology procedures. The physician must be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries, provide direct patient care including specialty exams as needed, follow all established medication policies and procedures, provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all urology clinical and surgical patients, and participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the VAMC Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee.Requirements include a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia, Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Urology (ABU), and BLS, ACLS certifications.Changing lives.
