Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry, including Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies
Operate and manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
Assist with central line care and administration of medication drips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience at large teaching facilities
Previous experience with Meditech EMR
Positive, engaged attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
