DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Event Custodian
Location: Edinburg, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hire Pay: $11 an hour
Classification: Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a hardworking individual to provide top-quality custodial services, including cleaning event facilities and restrooms.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dust mopping, running a floor scrubber, and cleaning restrooms.
Replenish all toiletries, soap, and paper products.
Performs routine maintenance of custodial equipment and supplies.
Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facility requirements.
Touch up restrooms and floors as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Receives supervision from the Event Supervisor. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The principal duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:

DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
