Salesperson - Full-Time Retail

Full‑time Retail Sales Associate (Pawn Store) – hourly wage $12.00 to $15.00, with commission up to 8% on transactions.

Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.

Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.

Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Successfully completes the assigned training.

Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

May be asked to assist customers outside the building or in exterior storage areas.

Minimum age 18 years old.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work in multiple locations and flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Unlimited commission above hourly base rate.

Sick/Personal time: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2‑5). Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 per year for full‑time employees meeting program requirements.

Auto‑enrollment in the 401(k) program after six months.

Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance.
