Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Full Time

Job Location and Schedule

Phlebotomist, Bullhead City, AZ 86442. Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Friday, 7:00 am – 2:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

Phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Phlebotomy Incentive Plan

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
